The last couple of months I have had the opportunity to reconnect with some old friends from college and see what is going on in their lives. Amazingly enough some of these guys I have not seen since college and when talking to them we picked up right where we left off. The BIble tells us in 1 John 1:7 why exactly this happens. I have been so blessed to have friends in my life who sharpen me and have always been there for me. Proverbs 27:17.  One incredible benefit of a Follower of Christ is being a part of something so much bigger than yourself and experiencing life together with other people who are in God’s family. If you are at a place in your life where you feel alone and have thoughts that no one cares, I encourage you to be a part of a local church that teaches God’s Word. God will bring people in your life who will love you for who you are and be there during the difficult times. I assure you if difficult times have not come to you yet, they will. Rely on your family and the people of God!
