  1. Really??? Please tell me you don’t actually remember “everything” he said – LOL!! Just an FYI – it doesn’t stop as they get older! During our drive to my dad’s for Thanksgiving (and the way home) I’m almost positive that Jacob talked nonstop, by himself – changing topics many times for at least 10 minutes before we finally had to lovingly ask him to please stop talking. This doesn’t include the “converstations” he has with us. He talks out loud to himself in the shower, in bed and even while driving his 4 wheeler. He’s so funny! (by the way, you know who our boys take after, don’t you? LOL)

  2. I seem to remember being about 12 years old and having a 3 year old brother…and anytime we traveled anywhere..no one in the car could ever get any rest….why? Cause my 3 year old brother would not shut up…..yes, his name was JODY…..

  3. I saw Jody and Graham up in Elijay!!!
    haha
Good times at the pool, Thanksgiving 08′

  4. Sounds like you need a DVD player in car! Oh, the silence we enjoy when we are traveling. Stick on the earphones and off we go! Of course, Willow does get tired of this and we have to hear story after story about friends. (Real and imaginary.)

By the way, we were listening to the Purpose of Christmas CD and when Rick Warren spoke Willow said, “That’s Graham Shelton’s daddy.” Apparently you sound like Rick Warren to Willow.

  5. Wow! That is great! Wait until your conversations go like this.. stop looking at me, Mom he’s kooking at me, I said stop looking at me, I am going to tell mom. ~ I’m not looking at you, so tell mom if you want. ~ Don’t talk to me, mom he talking to me tell him to quit, I don’t want him looking at me. Dad he just touched me and he is doing it on purpose I know he is. Tell him to stop it. Don’t touch me. And don’t keep looking at me either. ~ Mom I am not touching him and he is the one who keeps looking at me and won’t hush up and I am about to touch him!
~ Both of you sit on your hands, look out your own windows, and don’t say another word PERIOD!!!!!!!!!
    Oh won’t that be fun!!!!!

I agree with Earl. That was the best thing we ever did. Just a little thing from Target!!!

  6. Let me add though to your conversation with YOUR 3 year old,,, THAT IS PRECIOUS and may you always remember it!!!!!!!

  7. Hey, it sounds like you are busy with the joys of boys. We have Garrett(4) and Jordan (2). Brother and sister in the car is crazy and we go to Oklahoma almost every month. They ask crazy questions that I don’t even know the answers to. Like Garrett seeing an electric plant that makes electricity for all of Oklahoma wants to know who sends them electricity??? What?? Thank goodness Carter usually knows!! I enjoyed seeing your boys and glad to hear you all are doing well. Saw your sister and had been thinking about you guys. Reminded me of a lot of good times our families had together.
