Dawson is my oldest son who was diagnosed with autism a couple of years ago. Dawson is now 5 years old and has come a long way thanks to so many great people. Autism requires so much extra help that most people cannot fathom the financial burden. Dawson is in speech, occupational and aba therapy. He also is in an autism class at the school he attends in Snellville. Some of the therapies are covered by insurance, however the best therapy for autism aba is not covered by any insurance. My church Mount Zion has set up an account called the Shelton Fund that allows us to draw from to pay expenses for Dawson’s therapy. Each hour of therapy is $50. We are so blessed to have a church family who loves and supports us, we can not imagine where Dawson would be without the help of so many compassionate people. If you would like to make a tax-deduction gift you can send a check to Mount Zion, PO Box 568, Snellville, Ga 30078 (Shelton Fund in the memo)or you can make a donation online here:

Thank you for your prayers and support for my son Dawson.

Dear Jody: It is good to see your ministry that has grown from the hardships you have faced. My youth ministry grew out of hardship as well and, like you, caused me to realize the immense value of every child.
Bless you. Nice site.
